Peach Days Used Book Sale 2026

The library's large, annual used book sale is after Labor Day. The sale ends on the last day of Peach Days. A smaller book sale is held in January. Exact dates and times will be posted on the events calendar.

A small selection of used books is available year-round on the sale shelf in the library (main level, next to the stairs).

The sale could include books, cds, & DVDs, but the exact items vary from year to year. We do not keep a list of titles.

Magazines are usually sold in their own separate sale in December or January.

The library keeps its collections healthy by discarding books which are in poor condition or no longer check out. Most of these materials end up in the sale.

We also sell items that were donated to us, but that we can't use (e.g. we already had a copy, didn't have room, etc.)

To make room for next year's issues, old magazines go on sale separately from the big September Peach Days book sale. The magazine sale is included in our January book sale. Exact dates vary depending on when the new year's issues begin arriving.
