Meet six authors! Find out more about their books and writing lives and bring any questions you have for them on writing or their paths to publication.

Meet authors Jonathan Reddoch, Marie Higgins, Gail Knezevich, Sara Fitzgerald, Stacey Haynes, and Elizabeth Suggs as they pitch their book in a fun "Speed Date with a Book" format. Q&A will follow the book pitches. (Learn more about each author below in our Author Bios and Websites section.)

 Book signing and book sales information: A book signing will follow this event. Each author at this event will handle their own book sales.

Author Bios & Websites

Author: Jonathan Reddoch

Author Bio: Jonathan Reddoch is co-owner of Collective Tales Publishing. He is a father, writer, editor, and publisher. He writes sci-fi, fantasy, romance, and especially horror. He’s a prolific flash fiction author, but also writes poetry and short stories. He has been working on his enormous sci-fi novel for over a decade and would like to finish it in this lifetime if possible. He’s from southern California, but lives in Salt Lake City. Notable works included in Deluxe Darkness, Darkness 101: Lessons Were Learned, and This Isn’t the Place.

Author: Sara Fitzgerald

Author Bio: Sara Fitzgerald is an award-winning, multi-published author. She writes clean romances, paranormal young adult novels, and hopeful Christmas stories. Under her pen name, Vivian Cline, she wrote a gripping suspense novel, Consumed. Sara has won numerous awards, including the Writer of the Year from the League of Utah Writers in 2006. Recently, she won the prestigious Silver Quill Award from the League of Utah Writers in 2024 for her Novella A Kiss for Kate. Sara makes her home in Salt Lake City with her husband, daughter, and their zany American Eskimo dog, Glitter. She loves writing, watercolor painting, and spending time with her family.

Author: Stacey Haynes

Author Bio: Stacey Haynes is an award-winning, and best-selling author. She has always enjoyed reading and writing romance stories beginning with her first story in 6th grade. Her dream has always been to have one of her books published, and now she has several, including a poem about her most disliked food, Peas! She won her first writing contest when she and her sister, Marie, entered their story The Magic of a Billionaire into an online writing contest on www.ajoara.com – and their story won 1st place! She considers herself a hopeless romantic and tries to find the best in others. She loves to write in her spare time to relax after a hard day at work. Stacey lives in Utah with her wonderful husband and three adorable children, two of whom are married. She has the cutest granddaughter, who was born in 2025. She hopes to have more books published in her lifetime.

Author: Elizabeth Suggs

Author Bio: Elizabeth Suggs is the co-owner of the indie publisher Collective Tales Publishing, owner of Editing Mee, and is the author of a growing number of award-winning published stories, one of which titled “Into the Dark” part of the Collective Darkness anthology was Amazon Bestseller and another was selected for second place in the Quills Short Story Contest “Technicolor Tears.” She is also a book reviewer (EditingMee.com), popular bookstagrammer, and cosplayer (@ElizabethSuggsAuthor). When she’s not writing or reading, she’s traveling the world or doing yoga.
