Brigham City Library
Rooms 1&2 (Combined)Family Reading Support Classes designed to help readers in grades 1–3 build skills and confidence, while giving parents and caregivers the tools to support reading at home.
Want to feel more confident helping your child learn to read? Our Family Reading Support Classes are designed for developing readers in grades 1–3 who may need extra support, along with their parents and caregivers. This class is to help students who are falling behind grade-level milestones. We’ll cover key early reading skills like phonics, sight words, word families, and vocabulary building. Caregivers attend with their child and actively participate together, learning strategies side-by-side that can be easily practiced at home. You’ll leave with easy, effective tools and activities you can use at home to make reading time more positive, engaging, and successful for your child.
