The typical National Novel Writing Month goal is to write 50,000 words during November. The Library's NaNoWriMo goal is for YOU to meet YOUR writing goals.

 

How to Join

Declare a Personal Goal: Sign up by Nov 14, 2026 by registering here (or contact Alisha, 435-723-5850)

Start Writing: Writing begins at 12:00 a.m. midnight November 1st and ends 11:59 p.m. November 30th. Anything you write counts!

Win Points: Visit the Library's NaNoWriMo page to report weekly word counts & attend qualifying events to earn points for prize drawings.

Bask in Your Accomplishments: Hooray! Report your final word count and come to Open Mic Night to celebrate with other writers.
